What You'll Do:

As part of our team, you'll play a key role in shaping content strategies that educate and inspire, driving both traffic and engagement. You’ll collaborate closely with our marketing team, focusing on delivering content that not only informs but also builds a sense of trust and connection with our audience, particularly in the home loans and mortgage space.

In this role, you'll be responsible for:

  1. Content Creation with Purpose:
    • Craft thoughtful, SEO-optimised content such as blog posts, articles, landing pages, and guides that speak to the needs of our audience.
    • Infuse every piece with passion, ensuring it reflects our brand’s values of care and unity while addressing the real-life concerns of our readers.
  2. Insightful Keyword Research:
    • Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify valuable opportunities that enhance SEO and audience engagement.
    • Approach keyword integration with care, ensuring it feels natural, seamless, and always aligns with the reader's intent.
  3. SEO as a Tool for Connection:
    • Apply advanced SEO techniques to make sure our content is easily discoverable and serves as a helpful resource for people who need trustworthy mortgage information.
    • Use keywords, meta descriptions, and internal linking to enhance search visibility and user experience.
  4. Collaborative Content Strategy Execution:
    • Work closely with our marketing and cross-functional teams to support the creation and implementation of content strategies that align with our overall mission—helping individuals and families make informed financial decisions.
    • Focus on executing content initiatives that provide real value to readers, fostering a sense of community and support.
  5. Performance Monitoring with a Human Touch:
    • Use tools such as Google Analytics and SEMrush to monitor content performance, always looking for ways to enhance the effectiveness of our work.
    • Adopt a data-driven yet empathetic approach to content updates, ensuring it serves the audience’s evolving needs while maintaining a competitive edge.
  6. Continuous Improvement with Care:
    • Regularly review and refine existing content to ensure it remains current, accurate, and aligned with our business strategy and the needs of our readers.
    • Bring a proactive mindset to optimising content, always striving to provide the best possible experience for our audience.
  7. Staying Aligned with Industry Trends:
    • Keep up-to-date with evolving SEO and content marketing trends, always using that knowledge to better serve our audience.
    • Share insights and learnings with the team, contributing to a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's Graduate in related field (English, Journalism, Marketing or Communications preferred)
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in SEO-driven content creation, particularly in finance or mortgage industries.
  1. Technical Skills:
    • Expertise in SEO principles, keyword research, and tools like SEMrush and Google Analytics.
    • Proficient in writing, editing, and proofreading with strong attention to detail.
    • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS); basic HTML knowledge is a plus.
  2. Soft Skills:
    • Empathetic and reader-focused approach to content creation.
    • Strong collaborative and communication skills for effective teamwork.
    • Highly organized with good time management for meeting deadlines.
    • Adaptable and proactive, staying updated on content and digital marketing trends.

    Work hours: 8:00 A.M to 4:00 P.M (non-negotiable) including a 1-hour lunch break
